WanSpy is intended to give Network Administrator a visual view of how his Expensive Wan Bandwidth is getting utilized. In addition to online monitoring WAN link, WanSpy also facilitates Network Administrator to keep record of WAN usages for inventory purposes. 
WanSpy is based on SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) accepted across industry for management of computer networks. Key feature of WanSpy is to show data transferred by each host IP pair and indivisual host in terms of bytes and packets through Wan Link. WanSpy uses Ciscoâ Router’s IP accounting for this purpose.

 - Very simple upgradation path to all coming SNMP versions.
 - It allows you to set Refresh Time according to network load.
 - Graphical display of first 10 Host IP pairs in the table showing their percentage utilisation          of the overall bandwidth on WAN port.

 - Interface traffic graphs showing incoming and outgoing octets on all interfaces.
 - IP Traffc graphs showing incoming ,outgoing, forwarded, discrarded ip packets.

 - Bandwidth utilazation graph showing %utilization of incoming and outgoing traffic
 - Audio alarm generated when the number of bytes transferred exceeds the specified limit            on the WAN port. The last alarm time is also displayed on screen.
 - Log file generated which stores the IP pair values which cross the specified limit. 
 - Facility to print and save reports showing source IP, destination IP, bytes transferred.
   packets transferred and violations on WAN port.
 - Display Interface table and interface details that can either export to Microsoft Excel or 
   text file or print or copy it to clipboard. 
 - Display Cisco Running Configuration and allow user to save the file on own hard disk.
 - Allow User to configure Cisco Router , user can change the Login password and Enable secret       password of the router and configure the new password.
 - Display ARP table that can either export to Microsoft Excel or 
   text file or print or copy it to clipboard.
 - Display Routing table that can either export to Microsoft Excel or 
   text file or print or copy it to clipboard.
 

Liceance :
 
   You can use Wanspy 1.6 for 30 days only before registration. after that you must 
   purchase wanspy 1.6 and registered it.
   
Requirments:

  Hardware-
    Pentium 300 Mhz. 32 MB RAM, Mouse and Network Interface card configured for TCP/IP. 
  Operating System-
    WanSpy can work on PC running Windows 9x, Windows Millennium Edition, Windows NT and              Windows 2000 with Winsock 2.0 compliant TCP/IP on network interface card 
  Network Device
    WanSpy Requires Cisco(R) Router having any IOS version. 

Installation:

  WanSpy comes with an automated install/uninstall program - just run WanSpy 1.6.EXE. Setup     program will guide you for rest of the process.Please refer manual or installation notes for     details instructions of installation and configurations.

Running:

  Setup program will create shortcut into Program Files item. you can optionally run WanSpy by      double clicking wanspy 1.6.exe in WanSpy  directory 
  which have been created in path you have told to setup program.
